Quick start: Register, Deposit, and make your first Trade

How to begin trading in 3 easy steps.

Register an Account

The registration process is quick and simple: - Go to the registration page: - Choose your account credentials (Email+password), optionally provide your phone number, and agree to the Terms and Conditions - Click ‘Register’ - Confirm your registration by entering the 4-digit PIN code that you receive via email:
Resend’ option allows you to request a new PIN code after a 1 minute interval, if you have not received one. Additionally, you may select the ’Didn't receive email?’ option to troubleshoot for possible reasons why the PIN code does not arrive at your email inbox.
Phone number information is optional when registering and may be used to tie your PrimeXBT account to your mobile number after we implement this feature. Additionally it will allow clients to utilise the telephone support feature (call out on request) as we plan to introduce it in the near future.

Login with Google Account

In order to login to the account again once logged out, you can use your PrimeXBT account credentials (Email + password), or select the ’Continue with Google’ option, which allows you to authorise using your existing Google Account.
By selecting the 'Continue with Google' option, you will be redirected to the Google Account Sign in sub-page. Use your Google Account credentials to sign in:
Once completed, you will be automatically logged in to your PrimeXBT account.
If your Google Account was already authorised in your browser, simply confirm to continue with the selected account to log in to your PrimeXBT account.

Additionally you can access your PrimeXBT account using the IOS and Android applications of the platform.

Password recovery

If you forgot or lost the password from your account, you can proceed to the 'Password Recovery' page:
  • Specify the email address from your account on the password reset page;
  • Click the blue 'Reset' button;
  • You will receive an email to the specified email address with the password reset PIN;
  • Insert this reset PIN on the same page where you specified your email address;
After the reset PIN has been inserted, you can set a new password for your account and use it to further login to your account.
You have now successfully created an account! Next step - making a deposit.


Navigate to the Main page of your Account, select the desired Wallet and click the blue 'Deposit' button to proceed:
Currently, there are 2 deposit options on PrimeXBT - Direct Crypto deposits and Buying Crypto: a) Direct Crypto deposits from your personal crypto wallets to your PrimeXBT Wallets. At the moment PrimeXBT supports
USDC and
COV deposits:
  • Choose your deposit currency
  • Select the desired network
  • Copy your personal PrimeXBT wallet address
  • Paste it into the destination field on the site/wallet service from which you are sending funds (or use the provided QR code)
Direct Crypto deposits to your PrimeXBT Wallets can be done using the following networks:
  • Bitcoin network for
    BTC deposits.
ETH deposits are available:
  • Ethereum network (ERC-20)
  • BNB Smart Chain network (BSC)
USDC and
COV deposits are available:
  • Ethereum network for ERC-20 tokens.
  • BNB Smart Chain network (BSC) for BEP-20 tokens.

b) Buying crypto option allows you to Buy cryptocurrencies using a bank card (fiat currencies) via our partners such as Coinify, Paxful(P2P), Xanpool etc., and have it transferred to your PrimeXBT wallet.
To purchase cryptocurrency, click 'Buy crypto' in the upper menu or 'Buy Now,' which will bring up the corresponding sub-menu to make the purchase:

Each separate currency can be used only in Margin trading accounts, Strategies and Followings denominated in the SAME currency. For example, BTC can be used in a Margin trading account denominated only in BTC, while ETH can be used in a Margin trading account denominated only in ETH. If you wish to open a Margin trading account, start a Strategy or Following in a particular currency, make sure to deposit the same currency. Alternatively, using our in-wallet Currency Exchange feature allows you to exchange BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and COV amongst each other, directly between your PrimeXBT account Wallets.
Once your deposit has been processed on the blockchain, it will be reflected in your Transfer history (click a corresponding Wallet on the Main page of your account to bring up Wallet info)

Making your first Trade

1) First, you will need to transfer funds from your Wallet to your Trading account. Go to the 'Main' section and click the green ‘Fund’ button next to the selected Margin trading account:
Transfers between Wallet and Trading account are instant and free.
(alternatively you can complete this step directly in the 'Account' section of the 'Margin' page.)
2) To place an order, open the Trade interface. In the Chart widget select the pair you wish to trade and the order size (for example pair = BTC/USD, order size = 3.00):
Note: Orders can also be placed from the Watchlist widget, Dashboard widgets, or by right-clicking directly on the chart. For instructions on how to place orders click here. 3) Now, click the Red button to place a Short (sell) order, or Green button to place a Long (buy) order. This will bring up the ‘New Order’ window:
Here, select your desired order parameters, and click ‘Send order’. Your active orders are displayed in the Orders widget.
If your order is executed it will be reflected in the Positions widget. Double-clicking an active order or position will bring up the Order or Position modification window
