Promo Codes
Promo codes are special alphanumerical codes which allow you to receive a discount on trade fees, overnight financing or receive a deposit bonus on PrimeXBT.
Promo codes are generally found across the internet in relevant trading communities, blogs, and social media platforms, but may also be issued individually.
How to activate a Promo Code
To activate a promo code, navigate to the 'Hub' section and select the 'Promo code' sub-section:
Select the Margin account on which to activate the code
Enter your code
Click 'Activate'
You will now receive one of the following messages:
All successfully activated promo codes, as well as account status discounts, will be reflected in the 'Promo campaigns' module. To cancel an active Promo, click the 'X' button:
Alternatively, you can also activate a promo code from the 'Margin' page of your account.
Navigate to the 'Margin' page and select the "Account' section:
Select the Margin account on which to activate the code
Enter your code
Click 'Activate'
Promo campaign rules and conditions
If activating multiple promo types, it is also important to note that:
Only one Reward promo type may be active at a time
Multiple active Trade fee or Overnight financing fee discount promo types are NOT additive; only the highest active trade fee or overnight financing fee discount will be in effect at any given time
If attempting to activate two campaigns of the same type, a notification window will pop-up:
Confirming the activation of a second campaign of the same type will automatically REMOVE the previous campaign and any associated active bonuses and/or Rewards.
Depending on the type of a promo campaign, specific rules and conditions may apply to the promo, as listed below:
Rules and conditions of Fixed Tradable bonus usage (a.k.a. Funded accounts)
The Bonus is reflected as 'Reward' in the Margin account it is activated on;
Bonus cannot be withdrawn from Trading account;
Bonus is added to the account's Equity and thus can be used as additional collateral to open positions;
Any withdrawal of your own funds from Trading account to Wallet will automatically remove the full amount of Bonus provided. Withdraw funds from your Trading account ONLY when available margin is sufficient and you are comfortable to continue trading without provided Bonus;
Trade fees, overnight financing charges and settled P&L do not affect Bonus amount and are charged or booked to Trading account Balance
When Bonus is active, Balance may become negative due to trading loss or fees incurred. You can continue trading with the negative balance as long as it does not exceed the Bonus amount and the Trading account Equity remains positive;
If negative Balance exceeds Bonus due to trading losses and/or fees and commissions paid, the Bonus is considered to be spent. It will be removed from the account, and the account's Balance will be cleared to 0;
The bonus will be removed from Trading account on its expiry date. In case Balance of client's Trading account is negative when the Bonus is removed, the Balance will also be cleared to 0;
Removal of Bonus from Trading account will decrease account's Equity and may lead to insufficient margin and liquidation in case there are open positions. Each trader is responsible for maintaining sufficient margin levels to avoid position liquidation.
Rules and conditions of % Tradable bonus usage
Depending on the promo campaign rules, Bonus is provided for either the first deposit or for every deposit made to the Margin account where it is activated until the end of the promo campaign;
For a first deposit bonus promo, there is a minimum deposit amount. Please check the promo campaign rules. If the first deposit to Margin account is less than the required minimum, the promo code will be void and no bonus will be granted on the first or any further deposit;
The total amount of Bonus on the chosen Margin account cannot exceed a limit that is specific to each promo campaign. Please check the promo campaign rules;
Total provided Bonus amount is reflected as 'Reward' in the Margin account it is activated on;
Bonus cannot be withdrawn from Trading account;
Bonus is added to the account's Equity and thus can be used as additional collateral to open positions;

General rules of Promo codes and Bonus usage
Promo codes must only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes.
If PrimeXBT subsequently discovers that a client is in fact not eligible to receive or use a Promo code, PrimeXBT may at its discretion revoke the Bonus provided by the Promo code, and/or annul all or any portion of profits made with the help of the Bonus. No individual shall be entitled to any payment or compensation from PrimeXBT should any account Bonus or corresponding profit be forfeited or reclaimed.
PrimeXBT reserves the right to cancel, revoke, or withdraw the Promo code and/or the Bonus provided by the Promo code and annul all or any portion of profits made when using the Bonus at any time in case of any suspected abuse of Promo codes by a participant, including but not limited to using multiple Promo codes on multiple accounts to mirror trades.
The decision of PrimeXBT on all matters relating to Promo codes shall be final and binding on all participants and any other persons, including, without limitation, any decision to cancel or suspend a Promo code and/or the Bonus provided by it, and/or all or any portion of profits made when using the Bonus.
PrimeXBT may at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, without notice or assigning any reason therefore, terminate a Promo campaign, or delete, vary, supplement, amend, restrict, withdraw, or modify any one or more of the Promo campaign rules and conditions, including without limitation, eligibility of any client. Modifications and/or exceptions to the Promo campaign rules and conditions are at PrimeXBT’s sole discretion, and its decision is final. PrimeXBT is the sole arbiter of these Promo campaign rules and conditions and any other issue arising under Promo campaigns.
PrimeXBT shall not be liable for any claims, costs, expenses, losses, or damages suffered by any person as a result of the Promo campaigns and Promo campaign rules and conditions.
Welcome Bonus
Upon account creation clients may receive an offer to claim a Welcome Bonus. This bonus will provide a unique reward upon the user’s first deposit within the specified time frame (upon logging in, the Welcome Bonus countdown timer reflects the amount of time remaining until the end of the offer):
Within the same 48 hours after creating and logging into the account you may also open other margin trading accounts (ETH, USDT, USDC or COV) to claim a similar welcome bonus offer.
Welcome Bonus does not require the activation of a unique promo code.

Once this offer has been claimed, a Reward will be activated on your Trading account.
This bonus is subject to the 'fixed tradable bonus' rules and conditions.
If you have any other additional promo codes which provide you with more favourable conditions (such as a larger bonus) you can activate such promo codes to overwrite the initial Welcome Bonus.
